I have a job for you and you -
I am looking for four heroes true.
You see I come from a small town,
That a dragon keeps burning down.
We are harmless, simple farmers -
we have no blades, we have no armours!
The wyrm, it came from far away
We'd had no trouble 'til this day
And so I came to this town and to this pub
- i've been told that it's a mercenary club.
I came with gold to hire your shield and your sword
Or perhaps I can tempt you with the dragon's hoard
The dragon? It is large and red,
And it has killed twelve heroes dead
It's eaten maiden, ox and crops
There's nothing left but shoes and mops
So we will offer all our gold
To find some heroes, brave and bold
If they will come and slay for us,
This fiendish, fiery colossus
It needs to be dealt with, it needs to be done!
Come on now, stand up proud - it might even be fun!
Who will accept the quest? Who will risk its ire?
