Assault on Smurftown
Dragonbash 2001
Pompeii By Torchlight
Return to Olympus
Shrieker: The Wailing
Smurftown is under attack! A number of large hogs have invaded our happy village and have
mistaken the houses for truffles. There are dead and wounded smurfs everywhere! We need to
regroup! We need to organise! We need to drive these smurf-eating fiends out!
But Papa Smurf lies face-down in a puddle of blue goo. Builder Smurf, despite greivous injuries, is desperately trying to shore up damaged buildings. Smurfette's piteous screams still ring painfully in our ears. Who will lead us in our moment of crisis?
Where is Brainy Smurf? He seems to have conveniently escaped the carnage. Why did Spy Smurf escape unharmed, too? And who exactly has he been spying for for all these years?
A one session tournament by Sue Hutchings.

And thus it came to pass, that by some foul treachery the Titans were released from their bondage in Tarterus. With the aid of brooding Magicks they did secretly make their way to shining Olympus and captured the beautiful Gods unawares. Woe to the Gods in chains. Woe to the Worldly Order upset. Woe to Humanity left to the Titanic whim. Woe! Woe! Woe!
Unbeknownst to the Titans, four Gods escaped. Can Meander the river god, Sideras bumbling apprentice to Hephaistos, Kastenna muse of yodelling, and Akatharsia deity of dirt succeed where the cunning of Apollo, the skill of Athena and the power of Zeus failed?

I am a shrieker. I shriek. My father shrieked. As did my mother and grandfather and all my forebears. Here in the Grimy Grotto with all my friends, I am at peace. Once these Orcs came along, so I shrieked at them. I'm not discriminating. A Lich, a Paladin - anything with ears will do. It's my purpose. It's what I do.
We were happy. But now it has all changed. A terrible curse has fallen over the colony, and our Cry of Freedom has been extinguished. We're not going to just stand around and take it! Now is the time to act. Now is the time to fight back!
A two session AD&D game for four fungoid brethren, whose plucky courage could bring down a kingdom and change the world!
