...Many Machines at IX...
This year's theme is robots and androids. And possibly Hunter Destroyers. But mostly the first two.
Cyborgs and their ilk are common through science fiction games - everyone likes being able to have that bit of an edge you can only gain through bonding your living flesh with the cold mechanical machine. Without its pesky ethics and empathy, the machine allows for a killing process of maximum efficency. But eventually there is more machine than man, and the evolution into Android is complete and perfect.
At the Con, we will be holding a Costume competition on the Sunday, with fabulous prizes. There will be three categories in which judging will take place - technological, aesthetic and shininess. Specific judging criteria will be available on the day.
